The Young at Heart

Twice this week in my crafting room, did a Grandmother and Grand Daughter stamp together.  Of course you can remember about Eve and myself.  I am hoping to share a short video about hea once I figure out how to edit it.  It is over 17 minutes long !!!  Only a Grandmother would enjoy the long version.  Back to the story Diane………  On Saturday afternoon, a member of my club, Brenda, asked if she could bring her Grandmother.  Of course I said yes.  Well Gladys Smith joined us.  She is 94 years young.

Wow, what a Stamper and a very special lady.  It just shows you that stamping is a great craft for everyone.  Thanks Brenda.

At club, we did 3 cards.  One of the cards was cased from Convention.   I love convention because you get so many ideas.  With the Back to Spool Special, I couldn't  help not doing this card that was shown to us by Dawn Griffiths.

I came up with a Christmas version as well.  I will share that in the next few days.  I also did something funky with the white gel pen on the letters.  Check it out.

I thought it just brought the whole card together.  What do you think?

Stampingly,

  1. I am glad that Brenda brought her grandmother Gladys to our session, it is inspiring to meet someone so young and she definately outdid me in class, so quick she was and so nice she is, lucky you Brenda to still have a grandma, I can hardly wait to get my ribbon so I can do another card…
