Easter in Calgary

I do not know why I couldn't get onto typepad in Calgary.  Here are some pictures of my Easter weekend.

When I arrived in Calgary we went to the Calgary Zoo.  Eve just loves the Zoo.  We saw all of her favorite animals, the Hippopotamuses, Penguins, Elephants and Giraffes.  I think we may have another future photographer in the mist.

Not sure how that picture turned out, but she sure loves to snap pictures.  We got to go on a Merry-Go-Round.  You should have seen the look on her face when she started to go up and down.

And if there isn't enough to do at the zoo, there is a playground.  I used to love slides.

I can't believe how much energy Eve has.  When we got home she also went for a bike ride.  Then we had a Tea Party.

I was so exhausted after the first day!  On Saturday, we went to the Animal Petting Farm.  I must say that Calgary has so many things to do with a young one.  She collected coloured rocks and returned them with Daddy in the Rabbit hole.

There were so many activities there.  We fed animals.  Eve planted seeds and went on a pony ride.

The Easter weekend was complete with an Easter Egg Hunt.  Amazing how fast kids pick up on how it works  heheheh. Eve then helped Mommy make pancakes for breakfast.  They were yummy.

I sure enjoyed myself.  There is nothing like being a Grandma. I can't wait until the next visit.

Stampingly,

Diane

It is official, Wiarton Willy, the Groundhog in Ontario didn't see his shadow this morning. Folklore has it that if a groundhog sees its shadow on Groundhog Day it'll flee back to its burrow, heralding six more weeks of winter, and if it doesn't, it means spring's just around the corner.
