An Asian Look

One style that I really like doing is Asian.  I wanted to make an Asian card for Irene for her Birthday.  ThisIMG_0004 card was quite simple.  I used the Dream Garden stamp set.  Isn't it funny that there are times when you make a card, there is something that there is something missing.  I played around with quite a few different things and finally added the gold dragon fly.    I wanted to also show you something that I learned how to do by a very talented lady.  Her name is Sam.IMG_0006   This is an altered Readers Digest book.  After I learned how to do these books, it seemed like everyone in the family got one.  I had fun with this one as I made my own fortune cookie and my son made the Bonsai Tree for me out of a branch and a sponge.  I'll do a post on another day of a couple of place cards that I made with the Asian theme.
