Calgary Regionals

The beginning of March, I went to the Stampin Up Regionals in Calgary.  I got some cards ready for swapping.  Here is one card that Diane's I did.  I just love the colour combination of the Very Vanilla and Soft Suede. It is very unfortunate that we will only have this colour until the end of June.  I usually fall in love with one or two of the new "IN Colors" and then have to stock up on them before you can't get them anymore.  I used the embossing resist technique with the With all My Heart stamp set.  I also used  an embossing folder that I cut up.  This was  by a technique that I learned from a fellow Demonstrator.  Her name is Sandy McIvor.  A customer of mine gave me a hard time and told me that the embossing folders can come in borders.  Yes I know that they can, but they are not Stampin Up and they don't coordinate with an embossing folder.       IMG_0414 Another card that I swapped was done with Stampin Up's Stencils and chalks.

I also used the new Scallop Punch that is in the Sale-a-bration . It really doesn't show in the picture, but I colored the Satin Ribbon with a sponge and Stamp pad to match with the  Blush Blossom paper.  I really like using the Stencils.  There are so many different things that you can do.  I will have to play with them more.  'Til later.
