Stamp Camp Pictures

I finally found the cord to download the pictures that I remembered to take during my stamp camp.  I always get so busy and forget to take the pictures or can't find my camera when there is a prime photo opportunity.

This cabin was kindly offered by Spike for use of my first Stamp Camp.  It is located South of Kamloops in the Knustsford area.  This is just adjacent to where the Proposed Ajax mine is suppose to go.  It will be a very sad day when this cabin will have to be moved to a less favorable setting.  Enough, as I think I could go on and and on as to why the mine shouldn't go ahead in this area.

After alot of shuffing around, I arranged the tables so that I could get the different workstations all in.  I took this picture before the ladies arrived.

Here is a picture taken from the loft of all the ladies.

Here, the ladies are really concentrating what they are doing.

Stamp camp 5

After an intense morning, we took a leisurly lunch enjoying the view and countryside.  Spike had to put up a Christmas Decoration to go along with the theme of the Christmas Shutter class.

After lunch, it was back to work to put the book together.  After doing about 15 of these, you would have thought that I could do it with my eyes closed.  NOT…  I couldn't remember when I was about to show them all.  Must of been Stage fright.  heheheh  I couldn't believe it, but we sorted it out.

I enjoyed myself so much that I might do somehting like this again with a bit of a twist.

Stampingly,

Diane

I am home safe and sound.  What a rude awakening to the weather when I stepped off the plane.  It was really cool as opposed to Salt Lake City.  I drove through a terrible rain storm.  Everyone was hydroplaning all over the road.  Glad and sad at the same time, to be home.  Yesterday, I…

  1. I enjoyed the whole day that flew so fast, the lasagna was sooo good and gotta love that lemonade. It is a shame that the beautiful open range and all that glorius nature will forever be changed, we are such a materialistic world. I would love to see the sky up there at night, all those stars seem so close you could touch them. You outdid yourself this time, it was all to be expected, thank You for inviting me.
