Nothing better than Retail Therapy

Yesterday, Karen Gilbert and I got down to some serious Reail Therapy.  They opened up a new Mall called City Creek Centre.  When we walked into the mall, there were some beautiful metal sculptures of Seagulls.

Karen kindly posed for a picture next to them.

I found out that there was a story behind the seagulls from Carol Yoshy.  I was out on a misson to find out what it was.  I found the explanation over at the Mormon Temple Square.  I couldn't get a good picture of this monument.  No one is really  sure if it really happened, but it does provide for a good tale.  I took this picture to tell the story.

The Seagull is the Utah State Bird.  The only ones we have seen are the brass and metal ones.

Brighton1 Oh yah, about the shopping trip………  we went into one store and they had a gift for the first 500 Stampin Up customers.

It is the Brighton Store.  The ladies in there are amazing, not to mention all the beautiful stuff and Jewellery there.  They are collecting cards from the Stampin Up Demonstrators.

This is a Luggage Tag that they had made up for Stampin Up customers.

The back of the tag reads.

Stampin Up 2012 – I am Amazing.

This is one shop that I have come back to everytime that I am in Salt Lake City.

More Therapy today and then off to a ShoeBox swap tonight.

Stampingly,

Diane
