Mixed Media

I hope everyone had a good Canada Day.  At least the weather was much better than the day before.  It looks like we will have the good weather for another week or so.

As promised yesterday, I am sharing some more mixed media form the last weekend.  It really was amazing to see what the ladies came up with.  Here is the original Mixed media that I had done.

And here are a couple of ones that were done.  This first one was done by Edna.  Edna had a riot adding texture to the base of her masterpiece.

Isn't it great.  This second one that I am going to show you is done by Carol.  I love how she took hers into another direction with the flight idea as well.

I had said to the ladies that they could bring anything that they wanted to use.  I love that bird!  and the whole concept.  Thank you ladies for letting me share these on my blog.  I will share a couple more tomorrow.

Imagination is the key to mixed media and letting things go.  It is fantastic therapy for wanting to get lost in another world.  It is also a great way of expressing yourself.  I am excited to use a Gelli Plate on my mixed media.

Have a wonderful day.

Stampingly,

Diane
