Are you Ready to Create some Memories?

So it is a big Scrapbook weekend that is organized by Jacki Anderson, this Saturday and Sunday.  This crop is called Let's Scrap Breast Cancer.  Obviously the funds raised, go to Breast Cancer. Jacki does a great job organizing this event.  It also looks like there will be a full house.  Lots of fun and prizes.  Hopefully lots crafting goes on as well.  I originally started as a scrap booker, but quickly changed over to a paper crafter/ card maker.  I still like doing some mini books.  Stampin' Up has this quick cute book to capture moments.  This would be a great idea for Mother's day for your Mom, Grandmother or one of your best friends.  Here is what it looks like in the Occasions catalogue.

It has lots of goodies in it to make an awesome keepsake for yourself or someone special.  I have an idea for mine.  Stampin' Up has also done a video showing you what is in the kit.

Along, with doing a make and take, this weekend,  I am hoping to do some crafting myself.  LOL  I bet that doesn't happen, but I have good intentions.

I really enjoyed the scraping day yesterday, wish I could have been able to come today, but my eyes aren’t what they used to be a few yrs ago…would love to do some more stenciling, it is really neat and looks so good on pages and cards and just about anything you can think of…maybe a thought for a class.
