Last Months Club

Last month, we met and started on a technique book.  Because Stampin Up has new punches, I showed them how to use the corner and straight punches. On this card, we used a piece of paper that measured 1 15/16" square piece of paper to make the square scallop around the words.  This square used only the corner punch.  Along the top and bottom of the brown we used the straight punch which you can get for free if you spend $65.00 of product.  This offer is good until March 31.  Contact me if you want to know more.  We also used this delicious Designer Paper.  This paper is double sided, but one side is glitter paper.  It is gorgeous.  Check out the crooked Satin Bow.  Oops… It is made from the new Satin Ribbon and very easy to work with. 

The other project that we did was made with the Sweet Cups.  We did the bottom card in class.  It uses the new Valentine Cups.  These cups are so cute and versatile. They can be used for other things other than candy.  You could use confetti, tiny hair bands, clips, brads… just let your imagination flow.  This card also uses the new Pinking Hearts punch. This punch takes a little more practice to use, but once you get the hang of it, it is very effective.

I'm busy working on this month's club technique and projects.  Still haven't decided on the Stamp Set as there is so much to choose from in the New Occasions Mini. I still have more stuff to get from this catty.  Oh well I get Airmiles to allow me more trips to Calgary.
