Creative Inking Blog Hop Let’s Sale-a-Brate!

Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop.

Blog hot

Our theme for this month is Sale-A-Bration.  I personally  think that this year is the best Sale-A-Bration yet.  I love all the stamp sets, the accessories and especially the papers.  Have you gotten into coloring craze?  There is one paper pack that is called Inside The Lines.

You can do many different things with it. This exclusive 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) paper is only available when you make a qualifying purchase during Stampin' Up!'s  annual Sale-A-Bration event. I decided to do a plain and simple card using it.

It is pretty simple isn't it?  And I didn't even color it.

Now you can also color it, color wash it, spotlight it and many other uses.  I think Stampin' Up! showcases these techniques in this picture.

You can use the New Watercolor Pencils, Stampin' Write Markers, Blenders Pens, and the Sponge Brayers as shown above, but what about Spritzers and the Reinkers.  The uses of this versatile paper is unlimited.

So now why not Hop on over to Sue Lehrer's Blog and see what project she has made with a Sale-A-Bration item.

  1. This paper has been daunting to me. I got it since it matched the dragonflies… but I’m not much of a coloring person, so it just looks like so much work. Your card though has given me confidence to try something with it as is and not color it. Wish me luck! 🙂

  2. I love this DSP. It goes really well with the Dragon Fly, but I do love the Balloon Adventures stamp set and will try to work that one in to this DSP.

  3. The Basket Bunch Bundle is another of my favorites in the Occasion Catalog. I like it because it can be used for Easter and beyond. The basket, grass, and now can all be used for many different occasions. Thanks for the chance to win.
