Creative Inking Blog Hop – Creating with Colour

Welcome to the Creative Inkling Blog Hop.  Today, our theme is Creating With Color.  Stampin' Up! has a wide varies of tools to use for coloring and it was hard to choose which one I was going to use.  Last weekend, I did a class with water coloring with the ink pads and Aqua Painters.  I will have to share those projects with you later on because I think my all time favorites are the Stampin' Blends.

I have a monthly Stampin' Blends club.  Each month, they get a couple of colors.  Rich Razzelberry was the color we worked with last month.

The stamp Set that I first used to demonstrate the use of Stampin' Blends was Half Full.  If you have just hopped over from Linda Bauwin's Blog, this was her stamp set that she designed when she reached One Million Dollars in Sales.  Another Congrats to Linda for reaching that milestone.  And what a stamp set!  Although it isn't in a catalog right now, it is still available to order.  I will give the details below.

It is so easy to use the Stampin' Blends when coloring the wine.  Here is a card that we made in the Stampin' Blends club.

And the one below, is a gift card holder that was inspired by a a swap that I received at Onstage.

The Color Lifter, helps to lift off the color to give the highlights that would be on the wine glass.  The whole secret to using the Blends is to work in circles.  It blends so much easier.

Rich Razzelberry, also works great on flowers.  I will do a post later demonstrating those cards.

So lets, see what Sue Lehrer has created with color and what Stampin' Up! coloring tool that she has used.
