Calgary Regionals

When I was at the Regionals, I was lucky to meet with Shelli Gardner, who is the Founder of Stampin Up.  She is just a Wonderful Person. IMG_0460 Dawnica and I had a picture taken with her. (For anyone that knows me…picture taking is not usually allowed.  I really do not like to have my picture taken)  I can't believe that she started the Stampin Up Business in her Living Room! !   We were so lucky to have her come to Canada.  She also demonstrated an Easter project.  I just loved it and cased it for my Club. No I actually copied it.  I made it into a card instead of a tag.  I can see so many different things that you could do with this technique.  Here is the Easter tag that she demonstrated and the card that we made in the club.IMG_0017

This card is made with the Chocolate Bunny stamp, A to Z stamp and a retired
background stamp.  Of course Shelli didn't use the retired stamp, but
used the Fine Flourish stamp set from the Occasions mini.

Until I saw Shelli demonstrate this tag at the regionals, I really didn't even notice these stamp sets in the mini.  Of course I had to order them.

Back to the tag that we made.  We used the hugs from the mini.  So easy to use and very convenient.  I can see myself using them a lot.  I hope that they are going to be in the new catalog so that we can get them during the next year.

The great thing about Regionals, is that you get to meet other Demonstrators and swap with them.  You get tons of ideas.  I can't wait until I get some time to play in my Stamping room.  Maybe tomorrow after my class.

Happy Spring.

Diane
