Scoring Techniques Blog Hop – Pleated Card – Blackberry Beauty

It is Technique Tuesday and we are a bunch of Demonstrators from around the world that love to share different Techniques with you.  This month, we are sharing techniques showing Scoring Techniques..  Wow, this should be exciting!  There are so many  techniques that I wanted to share.  Perhaps that will be another blog Post or two!!!.  Today, I decided to show off s the Scoring Board and the Beautiful Blackberry Suite.  I have done this technique a few times.  It is called the Pleated Card or Drapery Card Technique. The Beautiful Blackberry DSP shows this technique off in a very elegant way.

This technique can be modified in so many different ways to get different looks and can be adapted for a landscape card as well.  I had decided to use the portrait  style card as shown below.  i will make sure to include a supply list below.

Here are the measurements for the card:

Cinnamon Cider: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored @ 4 1/4"

Rich Razzleberry: 4" x 5 1/4", 1 1/2" x 2 3/4"

Blackberry Beauty DSP: 3 1/2" x 8" scored @ 2",  3" ,5" and 6"

Also Just announced our Retreat.

We're so excited to be host our retreat – Your Creative Escapes – Holiday Edition.

While we'd all like to be able to get together to stamp, that just isn't possible yet. The retreat will be held on Friday, October 22nd from 7-9pm and on Saturday, October 23rd from 8am to 8pm! The event will be hosted on Zoom as well as streamed to a private Facebook Group for the Make and Take Sessions.
