SBTD – Embossing Folder Techniques

Welcome to Stampers By the Dozen Blog Hop.  We are a group of stampers that just love to share what we love to do.  This month's theme is embossing Techniques.  I have been doing several types of techniques with our embossing Folders.  I can't wait to show you some that are done with some of our new Christmas Product.

I have decided to show how you can combine Designer Series Paper and and Embossing Folder and change the whole look of both.

I decided to combine the Ornate Garden DSP and Embossing Folder with the stamps set from Tasteful Touches.  I find it amazing how you can combine so many different stamp sets and product in our new Annual Catalog.

Have you seen the results from running DSP through with an Embossing Folder and then Sanding it?  Check it out in this card.  I will provide a supply list below.

Our Designer Series Paper is white cored, and when it is sanded, it gives a different look.  I hope you can see that effect in this close up.

Here are the measurements that I used:

Terracotta Tile: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4", 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Whisper White: 4 1" x 5 1/4", 2 1/2" x 2 1/2", Scraps

Ornate Gardens DSP: 3 3/4" x 5"
