One Layer Card
Last month for our swap, we did a one layer card. Was that a challenge? I hear that it wasn't a very popular one. I still haven't seen the cards that were done because I was in Vancouver for the Regionals. Sorry ladies but I liked the challenge. Here is my card that I did. Sorry for the picture.
I used a couple of techniques to give the effect of layers. They were reverse masking for the large butterfly, sponging, and use of the embossing folder. For the swaps in Vancouver, I just stepped up the card by adding some more card stock and ribbon. Here is the Stepped up card.
Here is a list of the products that I used:
Paper: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede
Ink: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede
Stamps: Bliss, Tiny Tags, En Francais
Accessories: Beautiful Butterflies Die Cut, Crumb Cake Bias Ribbon, Linen Thread, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Sponges.
Again, I will apologize to the ladies for the tough theme for the Card Swap for February. This month's theme is crayons. I used this theme just to see the wonderful card that Carol Milgram will do using crayons and an iron. Can't wait.
'Til later,
Diane
