I Have Visitors!
I have visitors in my pond again, but they don't seem to be afraid of Takita or human beings. Two Mallards are swimming and eating around the edges of my pond. They are beautiful. My fish are way down at the bottom. I have been assured that they will not eat the fish. If they do, I will be putting nets over it. Here are a couple of pictures that I got of them.
I actually went right outside to take these pictures.
I really wish that I had taken a video of them. The male is really watching over the female while she is eating. He is the one that is more alert to things. I let Takita out and she just sat and watched them. She definitely isn't a bird dog.
It is like I live out in the country. I also have 2 squirrels that chatter and run all through the trees. I am glad to be rid of the Pack Rat though.

A www I would love a pond…but have a pair of Mallards anyway…kind of interesting…they like bird seed too!
How wonderful for you,I wonder if she is looking for a nesting spot??? Takita is Great!!
