Coloring with Alcohol Markers

I gave a class on the
Alcohol Based Markers a couple of weekends ago.  This class gave a brief
overview of the different coloring techniques associated with this type of Marker.

  I showed the
ladies a picture of a drawing that my son, Chris Henschel did for all of us at
Christmas.  He drew this family portrait of us from memory.  Thanks
Chris for making all of us look younger.  Except for the wine, he colored
everything with warm and cool grays.  We are a red wine kinda family. I
sure wish that I had half the talent that he has.  Thanks Chris for
allowing me to share this drawing on my blog.  After my show and tell we
carried on to learn a few color techniques.

The ladies were wonderful
and very eager to learn the craft so that they could go home and
practice.  We didn't finish a product in class but they stamped off
several images to take home.  I finished up one card with the new Beary
Best Friends 118052  in the new Holiday Mini that just started on September 1.

Stampin Up has teamed up
with the Build a Bear Workshop to bring an exciting and exclusive collection of
products in Stamps and Sizzix dies.  These dies and stamps are so
cute.   Here is the simple card that I did.  I left off the
wording as I haven't decided what I want to use the card for.  Maybe it
could be for an Invitation to a Child's Birthday Party.
I used Bermuda Bay
Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock and Polka Dotted Ribbon

Thanks for stopping
by.
