Welcome to the Creative Inkling Blog Hop and get Ready for Spring.  Happy Spring!   When I think of getting ready for Spring, I think of Easter. So I am taking the liberty to do my Blog post about Easter Projects.  Although there is still a couple of weeks until Easter, I wanted to share these projects with you because there is still time to get the Blossoming Basket Bundle with a $120 purchase (in Canada) for Sale-A-Bration until March 31.  The Basket Weave Embossing Folder will be available for purchase on June 1 in the Annual Catalog.

In this first Card, I used the Basket Weave Embossing Folder and the Amazing "3 Step" Sweet Little Something Stamp set.

If you notice, the basket weave looks like it has depth.  I do this by brayering on Smokey Slate ink onto the side of the Embossing Folder that has Stampin' Up! written on it.  I have used this same technique with the next cards as well.

These cards could be used for any Springtime event.  What about Mother's Day?  Or a Birthday?

Easter isn't complete without Basket Treats.  I actually made these for a Craft Fair that I was in a couple of weeks ago.  They went like Hot Cakes.  I used the adorable We Must Celebrate Stamp set and the Basket was run through the Basket Weave Embossing Folder.
