Creative Inking Blog Hop Saying Goodbye

Blog hot

Welcome to the Creative inking Blog Hop.  This month, we are all saying goodbye.  One thing that is exciting and also very sad in the Stampin' Up! world is saying farewell to all the retired stamp sets and accessories.  I was very thankful that quite a few of the stamp sets got carried over into the new catalog.  Every year we can count on certain stamp sets not being carried over.  They are the Hostess sets that you can only get when you host you own party.  This year there were some very nice sets, but my favorite one is called Best Thoughts.

One can never have  enough flower stamps, can they?  I water colored the flower with the aqua painters and the stamp pads.  I love using this technique.

As you can also see, I fussy cut the flower to give it more depth.  Not only is this stamp set retiring, but the black embossing powder and Oval Framelits are as well.   If you want any of these products, don't forget to get it before May 31 or before they are sold out.

Now hop on over to Susan Campfield's blog to see what she has done with something that is retiring.

And if you missed Sue Lehre's, make sure you you go back and see what she had created for you.
