A Crazy Weekend

It was a very creative weekend for me.  The Cards for a Cause event on Saturday, in support of the Alzheimers's Walk for Memories, Kamloops, was a huge success.  I can't wait until we find out what amount  we raised for the Cause.  Karen, Janice and I had a blast.  I think the ladies that attended did as well.  Here are some pictures from the event.  Firstly, it appears that I took a lot of pictures of one lady name Carolyn Wright.  She agreed to be a subject for a Stampin' Up! research that I am doing for Leader 2 Leader Project for Stampin' Up!  Thank you Carolyn for being such a great volunteer for this project. 

When the ladies came in, they gathered their bags and went straight to their tables and got right in.

At each table, was a different card.  In all, they made 9 cards.  Janice, Karen and I designed three different cards. 

Two of these ladies were relatively new to making cards.

This is Carolyn Wright.  She was so excited that she was making these cards.  Look at her, being so proud to complete one of the cards that I had at one of my tables.  Her enthusiasm didn't  waiver at all throughout the day.

A huge thank you to call the ladies that attended.  Without you, we could not raise money for this Cause.  Save the Date, we will be having our next one on April 25.  This one will be for the Crohn's and Collitis.  Hope to see you there.
