What a Start

So I start this blogging thing and then I don't blog.  What's with that?  I have been busy trying to be creative, but haven't been that successful.  I had to get a swap done for our upline/downline meeting. Here it is.  Most of the Supplies are from the new Stampin Up Mini catalogue.  Before I tell you the ingredients, I have to tell you that my son, Chris (the artistic one in the family) took this picture out by my pond.  I had asked him to take the picture for me.

If it was me taking this picture, I would haveused my normal background. The rocks and pine cones really sets it off, don't they?  I really like this new Autumn Splendor Stamp set.  I used my Leaves diecut for the Taken with Teal Leaf.  The other 2 leaves are embossed with gold embossing powder.  I used the Champagne Shimmer Paint to give them a subtle effect.  I also used the Autumn Meadows Designer paper.  Anyone that knows me, knows that I have a hard time using this paper because Stampin Up makes designer paper that has pretty designs on BOTH sides of the paper.  I just hate to cover up the opposite side.  Solution…….. buy 2 packages of it.  I have to start using it as I have such a hoard of paper.  For additional information contact me.  I hope to start posting more often and on a regular basis.  I will try my best.  I will share some cards from the card swap that I host on a monthly basis and if the ATC group will allow me, I will also share some ATCs.  We meet tomorrow.  Hope to share other creations with you soon.
