What a Fantastic Day

I had a wonderful day yesterday.  Thanks to everyone that made it so special.  Yes it was my Birthday, but I try to keep it pretty low key. 

It wasn't low key at all.  I think this is one of he first times that I have visited one of my kids.  A huge thank you to Chris, Brooke and Logan for helping me celebrate.  It was wonderful.  Brooke and I went to the Market, Jean Talon.  What an amazing market that has something for everyone.

I also received a call from Winnipeg and then was sent an adorable video.  Unfortunately, I do not have the right settings to share it here.  They were adorable in it and I was given a very special wish in it.

 

Chris made me a Angel Food Cake from scratch with boiled icing.  This is my favorite.  Check it out.

 

It had roasted almond and chocolate shavings on it. Délicieux. 

 

Oh, I will share something that Chris made for me tomorrow, when I have better light for the picture.

 

It was a great Birthday.  Thanks to everyone that made it so special.  Today, we are going shopping.  Off to the Baby shops!  A Grandma must always go to a Baby shop or two.
