Mixed Media Part 3

Firstly, I would like to wish all my friends south of our Border, Happy 4th of July.  Can you believe that we are now into the second part of the year?  Where does the time go?

I am going to share the last of this series of posts about our Mixed Media Camp.  This one was done by Kathy.  She is true artist.  She loves to paint and draw.  She is a true inspiration.  I wanted to show this picture with all of the texture that she put on her canvas before she added the color.

I never thought of purchased chipboard on this.  Hmmmmm….  more ideas are being going around in my head.

Now here is the almost finished product.

The picture really doesn't do it justice.   Kathy just loves the vibrant colors.  I tend to be more subdued.  I can't wait to play with more Mixed Media and Altered Art.  You sure can escape with reality by doing it.
