I’m back

What a wonderful 4 days in Calgary and they even had nice weather the last 2 days.  It was Keira's First Birthday.  It is hard to imagine that I was there a full year ago visiting her in NICU.  You would never know it.  She is so cute and she smiles so much.  She was lucky to have 2 Birthday parties.  We had the family one on Thursday and then again on Saturday.  Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

What party is complete without the cake?  I feel so bad, but I video recorded most of the time and didn't get as many pictures as I had wanted.  She does like cake.

Who doesn't.  Eve sure is wonderful with her.  She plays with her all the time.  When Eve picks up Keira, Keira has the biggest smile on her face.  It is definitely sisterly love.  Eve had to go to school on Friday.  When she got home she was goofing around and I just had to catch a picture of that.

Also on Friday, Rob was trying to finish the outside deck.  What a shame that he is doing all this work and they have to move.  After dinner, I went out and helped.  We had to stop because of a huge storm.

Calgary has the weirdest weather.  Saturday morning, it was so cold and then in the afternoon, I got a bit of a sunburn.  I wonder how it compares to Winnipeg.  The kids are in Winnipeg right now checking things out.  I am dying to hear how things are going.

I guess that was my last visit to Calgary.  Next time it will be in Winnipeg. 

Now that  was the fastest that I have recapped 4 days.  LOL.  It went that fast.  Grandchildren are the best.
