Bokeh Meets Hello Life

This month at club, we played with the Bokeh Technique.  I really like this technique and it really is easy to do.  I like the effect.  I am planning to use this technique in some of my Project Life pages.  Here is the card that we did.

You could use any sentiment.  I tried to put another piece of paper on top with an image, but didn't like the look.  It covered up the background.

Here is what I gave everyone to put into their technique tag book.

Bokeh ( bo-kay )

This is a photography technique, where the picture is blurred or out of focus.

Select 2 or more colors.  Use a sponge or sponge dauber to randomly sponge onto Whisper white cardstock.  Try different intensities.  Let dry completely.  Make a circle template out of Window sheets or card stock and use this  to sponge Whisper White Craft Ink circles over the colors.  Let dry. Repeat.  You can use the heat gun to speed up the drying process.

The technique is a little messy, but well worth the inky fingers.
