After Christmas Blues
The worst thing about Christmas, is having to take the Decorations down. Normally I would have done this a few days ago, but I just got back from Calgary. Fortunately it takes less time to take the tree apart than together. Every Christmas I get a new Ornament and this year wasn't an exception. This ornament is so appropriate. Check it out…….
Isn't that the truth…… spoil them rotten. I just wish they lived closer.
After my cleaning, I should have gone into my Craft Room to work on my swaps. Well, the best laid plans did go astray today with unexpected company. No problem, but I wanted to share this card that we did in my Stamper's 10 Club last year (that sounds so strange and ages ago).
We did the Faux Tearing Techinque. To get this effect, we tore an oval out of a piece of computer paper and sponged it with Crumb Cake. The stamp set that we used, was the Fast and Fabulous Hostess Set. We finished the card off with the Always Artichoke Bias Ribbon and the Safety Pin from the Vintage Trinket Collection.
I must say I enjoyed these few days off. The worst part of a taking time off, is going back to work. By work, I am talking about my every day job and not my Stamping Business.
'Til tomorrow,
Diane
