Ready Set Go
Well I'm off to Convention. I have just completed 75 Technique Swaps with a group from Canada. Now if that wasn't enough, I committed to a Shoebox Swap in Salt Lake City. We had to design a card, make 25 of them and then prepare for another 24 cards that were going to be made by 24 participants. Because all of us will be making 24 cards in 3 hours or less, we almost have to make the second set of cards. Again, I put my foot in my mouth and quickly said that I would join in a PJ swap. We had to make 12 WOW cards. This was the one I had the hardest time doing because of the talented ladies in the swap. I was worried that it was going to be good enough. Well, I tried a new type of card. It is called a Slider Card. I had mine completed before it showed up on Splitcoast. I was pretty excited about that considering that it just went there this week. I used one of my favorite stamp sets called Autumn Splendor. I hope they like it. Then ……… I did two sets of 50 card fronts to swap at the Convention for a total of 237 swaps. Wowza ! I actually got them all done ! Now I can't wait until Convention starts on Wednesday the 21st. Here is a picture of the swaps before I packed them up.
Check out the pearls that are in the bottom left hand side of the picture. These are a new item in the catalogue. I can tell that I will be purchasing a few of these.
Will send some updates from the Convention.
Happy Stamping.
