Another Valentine Defined Card
I really like this stamp set. I think it can be so versatile. You could use it for an Anniversary Card and even a Wedding card. Because it is February, I made another Valentine card. We made this in our club last month.
For this card we did a couple of different techniques. The first one we did was using a brayer with Soft Suede Stamp pad and brayered over the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder. We inserted the Very Vanilla Paper in and ran it through the big shot. It gives a great shadowing effect. The other technique that we used was Block Shadow stamping. We inked up a Clear Stamping Block Size C with Crumb Cake and stamped directly onto the card Stock and stamped the definition of Valentine over top. Check out the new Red Glimmer Paper that can be found in the Occassions Mini. Here is a list of the other things used to make this card:
Card Stock: Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Red Glimmer Paper
Ink: Soft Suede Crumb Cake, Riding Hood Red
Stamp Sets: Valentine Defined, Tiny Tags
Accessories: Crumb Cake Bias Ribbon, Linen Thread, Heart punch, Jewellery Tag Punch
I need to make another Valentine's card for my Granddaughter.
'Til later,
Diane
Such a sweet card Diane…I love it and I love how you’ve given directions! Thanks for sharing!
