Cupcake Birthday

Last month at my club, we had a couple of Birthdays.  I wanted to do something different for them instead of sending them a card.  I had seen the Cupcake that Stampin Up made at Founders Circle for all the Demonstrators that attended.  I had also seen a box that was made somewhere on Blog Land.  I am sorry but I cannot remember who's blog I had seen it on.  I had asked the two ladies what their favorite colour was.  Sam's colour was yellow.  I think she named numerous others, but I kinda remembered brown from the list.  Brenda's was Blue.  Here are a couple of pictures of the cupcakes that I made for them.

This one was made with Daffodil Yellow and the Early Espresso.  I was limitited to colours that I had of the stiped wide grosgrain ribbon.

This one was made with the Marina Mist.  Here is another view of the box and inside.

I made the inside shredded ribbon with my crimper and the Table Top Paper Cutter. I took pictures of them receiving the Cupcakes, but neglected to ask them if I could post them on here.

'Til later.

I just wanted to take this moment to reflect…. On November 11, Canadians wear poppies and gather at war memorials across Canada to pay tribute to those who died in war. At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the time the Armistice of World War I was signed in…
